Pastor Michael Moore, a native of Austin, MN, gained his Master of Divinity from United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities in New Brighton, Minnesota in 1986. Since then he served as pastor of Western Presbyterian Church in Fergus Falls, MN and Lawrence Presbyterian Church in Wendell, MN (Yoked Parish) from 1987 - 1990.

Since 1990, Pastor Moore has served as a chaplain in the United States Air Force in various locations both within the United States and around the world while attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Currently, he serves as a Deputy Command Chaplain at Hurlburt Field near Milton.

Pastor Moore came to First Presbyterian of Milton in January of 2009, and the congregation has quickly come to love his ministry.
